Experienced Marine Salvage Professional Ronald F. Milardo

Ronald F. Milardo of Lyme, Connecticut, has spent nearly three decades as the owner and founding member of Cooper Capital Specialty Salvage, LLC, an Old Saybrook-based marine salvage management company. A few of his specific duties in this role include the management of not just salvage operations, but transportation and loss mitigation. He is also an integral part of the company’s marketing and sales strategies. During his time as the head of Cooper Capital Specialty Salvage, Ronald F. Milardo has successfully managed the recovery of more than 30,000 assets in the wake of natural disasters across the United States.

During his time as a student at Brown University, Mr. Milardo played on the varsity hockey team. He graduated with his bachelor of arts in political science in 1983.

Ronald Milardo’s personal interests include fishing and boating. He is also a supporter of several philanthropic organizations, including the Boys and Girls Club of Newport County in Rhode Island and the Connecticut Cancer Foundation.
